The 10th Assembly of Ministers of the Maritime Organization for Eastern, Southern and Northern Africa (MOESNA) Approves the United Republic of Tanzania as host of the Maritime University for Eastern, Southern and Northern Africa

The 10th Assembly of Ministers of the Maritime Organization for Eastern, Southern and Northern Africa (MOESNA) has approved the United Republic of Tanzania as host of the Maritime University for Eastern, Southern and Northern Africa a regional institution envisioned to advance quality maritime education and training, develop a skilled maritime workforce and strengthen institutional capacity across Member State

The Assembly also approved the establishment of a Regional Shipping Lines Network to enhance maritime connectivity, facilitate regional trade and strengthen cooperation among Member States.
