CABINET SECRETARY SALIM MVURYA MEETS SENIOR OFFICIALS AT THE STATE DEPARTMENT

PS State Department for Shipping and Maritime Affairs Geoffrey Kaituko hosted the Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs Hon Salim Mvurya at NSSF Annex.

The CS addressed the senior officials in the State Department and encouraged them to embrace teamwork; hard work and to serve Kenyans to the best of their abilities.

He appraised them of the work that’s being done by our Ministerial colleagues in Mining and Blue Economy, reiterating the need to deliver as one Ministry, under the framework of the Whole of Government approach.

CS also advised on training of more Coxswains in order to fulfill the President's promise of job creation. Delivering governments' Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) was the main focus of deliberation.
