CS SALIM MVURYA, PS GEOFFREY KAITUKO MEETS BRITISH HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR KENYA

The CS Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs Salim Mvurya together with the PS Shipping and Maritime Affairs Geoffrey Kaituko hosted the British High Commissioner for Kenya Mr. Neil Wigan OBE during a courtesy call meeting at the CS's office.
The CS emphasized on the need to leverage the potential in the maritime sector , ensure marine safety and security as well as look for private partnership and investors in the industry.
The PS on his side identified areas of concern in the sector which includes maritime safety and security, education and training, maritime trade and investment and promised to work closely with the UK government to ensure the maritime sector prospers.
He thanked the Commissioner for welcoming King Charles III  to Kenya during his first visit in Africa where he was able to visit the Mombasa Port among other places.
